Planting weekend for you???

 It's that time of year to split off and replant your perennials! We have tons of hostas, day lilies, tiger lilies, peonies, phlox, a red fall flowering plant, and yellow flowering summer plant. If you need plants, come this beautiful weekend and help yourself!!! All plants and flowers are free if you are willing to come dig them up and take them!! Pictures above are just a few varieties to choose from.... much more here! I even have a couple rose bushes I'd be happy to pass along too :)

a true fan

Jaxon, unlike Austin a few weeks ago, LOVES Vikings games with his dad!!! Austin loved everything leading up to getting to the game and then was ready to head home. Jaxon can't wait to just get there! Dave has a couple cool connections through his job and the last couple years has been able to round up a couple pre-game field passes. Jaxon loves getting to hang out down on the side-line, shake hands with the owner, and meet the Vikings mascot. For a 6 and 7 year old boy who loves this game, that is pretty awesome stuff! There is talk the Vikings may be moving west and I am pretty sure I will have more then 1 sad boy in this house if that happens. For our father/son bonding trip sakes...I sure hope it doesn't happen!! Dave is sure molding a true fan in our eldest son!

at the end of the day...

I love to just find the bed with my kids at the end of the day and cuddle while we recap our day and look forward to the next. Squeezing in between them is one of my highlights every day! Usually dad and the dog joins us too... I surely will miss these snuggle times when they decide they are too big or too old for their mama to climb in with them :) Jaxon always talks away as he tells us something from his day, Austin usually wants to know what he is doing tomorrow and what time I am going to wake up in the morning, and if Carson is awake still, he just lays and stares at his brothers or in my arms. Dave and I usually say our good-nights as we try to convince Jaxon that he needs to be done talking for the day ("just one more thing" he tells us) and Austin is asking for one last kiss and hug. ahhhh...... some days I can't wait for my day to end so I can get here :) What sweet little moments that help make up our family...
